Dr. Tet Toe is board certified in Internal Medicine. He founded Folsom Internal Medicine Associates in 2017 after a successful tenure with Mercy Medical Group. Dr. Toe believes in educating his patients on the value of living a healthy lifestyle to help prevent the onset of chronic diseases. The guiding light throughout his training and career is to “relieve the suffering” of his patients, and he practices this compassionate approach on a daily basis.

He received his medical training from the medical school in Rangoon. In 2001, Dr. Toe received his medical degrees from the Institute of Medicine in Yangon, Myanmar. After moving to the United States, he completed his internal medicine residency at the Alameda County Medical Center in Oakland, California.

Dr. Toe is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Every year, he attends a number of medical education conferences to further his expertise in the latest treatments for managing chronic conditions. He believes that by staying on the cutting edge of medical technology and education he is better positioned to properly serve his patients’ needs.
